Rinal Kothari | Co-Founder
After over a decade as an interior designer—working across jobs and personal projects—I’ve had the privilege of shaping many spaces. But along the way, I often felt that something was missing. The work was fulfilling in many ways, yet it didn’t quite feed my soul. I longed for a deeper connection, a creative space that felt more personal, more honest—something that resonated from within.
That longing led me to create KACHCHA GHADAA.
For me, design is more than a profession—it’s a form of self-expression, a reflection of my inner journey. It’s where creativity meets consciousness. Through design, I explore life more deeply and meaningfully. KACHCHA GHADAA was born from a desire to slow down, to live with intention, and to share that awareness through thoughtful, handcrafted creations. I believe that design has the power to elevate everyday living and spark a deeper connection with ourselves and our surroundings. With each piece, I hope to contribute—not just beauty to a space, but a sense of purpose and presence to those who experience it.

My professional journey began in the world of numbers, balance sheets, and structure—life as a Chartered Accountant. It was stable, logical, and clear. But somewhere in the middle of all that order, I started craving something softer, slower—something that felt more.
Leaving that world wasn’t easy, but it opened up space for something that feels closer to who I am becoming.
KACHCHA GHADAA, for me is a journey to return to the hands. To presence. To creation. That the “in-between” is worth honouring. That’s what this space is about. A place where I can simply create—and grow alongside what I’m creating.

Our work is not just about objects; it is about presence, process, and purpose. While our journey begins with one material, we are continuously evolving—exploring diverse elements, techniques, and expressions. We work primarily with natural materials, embracing their raw beauty while making mindful choices in our processes. Though some components may require reinforcements, we strive to keep our approach as eco-conscious as possible.
